Well,  it is a SATA drive, thanks! Now I feel silly!  Okay so do we have 
a the fix so I can install R.H. 9.0 on it? In one forum I read something 
about changing the BIOS under SATA operation. I have nothing like that 
in my BIOS. Is there an upgrade for the BIOS?
