Hi Larry,
 I would start by pointing out that Red Hat Linux 9, the final
release, hit its official end-of-life on April 30, 2004. You could
also point them to:

http://www.redhat.com/security/updates/eol/

You can still get updates for it from:

http://www.fedoralegacy.org/updates/RH9/

I guess if you really want to use RH9, you could see if the 2.4.20
kernel supports enough of the hardware, and build your own boot
disk. (Boot CD or Flash drive?) But it is going to be a lot of work.
