[tlinux-users:08015] Using the CRT on my Toshiba L10-100

Hello List,

I'm currently messing around with getting the crt out of my L10 back to
work. Since xorg-x11-7.0 became stable in GentooLinux the tiny little
userspace driver i855crt doesn't work anymore. If I call it using

    $ i855crt on 1024x768@75

I get weird colors on the crt, which might be a downwards calculation to
a 8 bit color map. But that's only guessed. 


My questions: 

(1) How do you use your crt out? 

(2) Are there any other programs like i855crt (previous was i855switch)?

(3) Has anybody made it to get a different resolution on the crt out
than running on the Laptop LCD?

(4) Is there any useful tutorial out there how to get multiple screens
(LCD + CRT) working in parallel? What about the "xinerama" extension of
xorg? 


Any tipps would be greatly appreciated!
