Hi, yesterday I upgraded my Toshiba 2430-301 with an Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG MiniPCI Card. The driver worked out of the box (Ubuntu) but it says: "Radio Frequency Kill Switch is On" and stops working. The switch is in position "On" and I also tried Fn+F8 but no result. Than I switched to Windows. Same problem here. Ok, maybe a hardware problem but then I found another person ( http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/jive3/thread.jspa?threadID=15228 ) who has the same problem. So my question is, has anybody a Toshiba 2430 with a working Intel 2200BG card? Or is there a chance to tell the driver that the switch is on? Bye and thanks in advance, Sven
