I found it: very stupid braces borgotten in the omnibook_io_match.
This error made this funtion to always match the first entry on
the list, which is the one corresponding to my laptop model, hence
breaking the module for most laptops but not on mine...

The fix is in the trunk, I will upload a new tarball.
