Why?
Try 'ISPConfig':
http://www.ispconfig.org/demo.htm
This will let you add/remove/play/vandalize all your web-apps, and keep your
box locked down for maximal security.
You can also put 'phpMyAdmin' in to 'ISPConfig', and 'if all else fails,
read the instructions' - they are not all in German, honest!
With 'webmin' (www.webmin.com <http://www.webmin.com/> ) you can probably do
everything you need, re sysadmin, but 'ISPConfig' is neat.
Having not tried Ubuntu+wireless, does it have 'intel wifi' drivers or use
an 'ndiswrapper'? Ndiswrapper works a treat if you ask me, cannot fault it,
so give it a go on the other distros. You could also try the 'knoppmyth'
distro, with one of those UKP 50 DVB-T cards to make the Tecra into a
set-top-box.

Hi All,
Just to let you all know, installed this last night, very impressive. It
detected my Level One USB wireless with ZyXel router no problem, and the
partitioner was easy to use. (It did require a restart to recognized new
partition sizes). Firefox flies compared to Windows. I currently have XP,
Debian Sarge and now Ubuntu on the Tecra. I used the knoppix live CD and
'qtparted' to partition the drive initially for Debian. Ubuntu has impressed
the most. Debian and Knoppix didn't pick up the wireless at all.
