I am struggling with a non-Tosh Ami BIOS STR - so I won't confuse you with
that...

I have also heard that you need the 64 bit drivers for 'ndiswrapper' or
whatever drives your network, and that 'WEP' helps, not 'WPA'. Maybe just
turn off the network i/face and just have the loopback to save having to
corrupt your presumably working network settings and see if that gets it to
not do the coma thing... No practical experience on that to pass on - I
still use 'ndiswrapper' with 32 bit drivers, but will one day get to 64 bit.
I presume you have tinkered with the suspend states in the BIOS? I don't
know if that makes a difference, maybe just turn the wifi off (properly) and
see what happens.

Can you provide the list with more details on your Linux system please?
(ubuntu release, kernel version, etc)
In particular I'd be interested to see the output from 'dmesg' after a
resume from RAM. In my experience with Linux, suspending is not 100%
perfect, not yet anwyay ;-) so some bugs could be present and the dmesg
output should show us.
