Concerning the files in /proc/omnibook/, they work by reading and writing. That is to read the lcd backlight level do "cat /proc/omnibook/lcd" and to change it do "echo 0 > /proc/omnibook/lcd" that will switch the level to 0 that is minimal luminosity. You might want to try other files in the /proc/omnibook directory. One final note: You HAVE to load the module forcing ectype 13 if you don't then trying to change lcd value is known to fail on A105. -- Mathieu Bérard
