I apply this patch now, but when I run "make install", I see this warnings:
====================
CC [M]  /home/yamane/Desktop/omnibook/trunk/nbsmi.o
/home/yamane/Desktop/omnibook/trunk/nbsmi.c: In function ?ati_do_smi_call?:
/home/yamane/Desktop/omnibook/trunk/nbsmi.c:125: warning: comparison of
distinct pointer types lacks a cast
/home/yamane/Desktop/omnibook/trunk/nbsmi.c: In function
?intel_do_smi_call?:
/home/yamane/Desktop/omnibook/trunk/nbsmi.c:169: warning: comparison of
distinct pointer types lacks a cast
/home/yamane/Desktop/omnibook/trunk/nbsmi.c: At top level:
/home/yamane/Desktop/omnibook/trunk/nbsmi.c:307: warning:
?nbsmi_ec_write_command? defined but not used
=====================

I don't remember if this warning is shown before I apply this patch.
I can shutdown my laptop until 8:00PM (GMT -3) to test this.
