[tlinux-users:08168] Problems with suspend on Portege M200

Hi!

I have a Toshiba Portege M200, where suspend to disk worked fine under 
unbuntu Breezy (I switched from X to console and then pressed Fn+F4 - 
suspend from X didn't resume correctly).

However, after a new installation of Ubuntu Dapper, suspend no longer 
works. I try using the keys Fn+F4 without any reaction (have fnfx 
package installed), and using the software shutdown buttons in KDE, 
Gnome and XFCE4. What happens is that screen is shut down, but then 
returns and a line telling "suspend failed" flashes before X returns and 
everything seems back up.

My hypothesis so far have been that there was some daemon that was not 
shut down, so I tried manually shutting down mysql and beagled before 
suspend, but with no luck. I have no other gadgets attached (such as 
PC-cards) and the laptop running on battery when trying. I find no 
entries in /var/log/syslog about the shutdown process.

So: where can I find the logs from the process? And does anyone have 
advice on how to make it work in Ubuntu Dapper?
