However, the lspci shows all "ff" for the PCI data of everything on bus 7, and the e100 driver reports (correctly, AFAICT) a bad checksum. I can hack the driver to ignore the bad checksum; then it reports an invalid MAC address. Hardcoding the MAC address causes ifup (via dhclient) to report that the network is down. Windows XP can use the card without any difficulty. ~Chris -- Christopher R.
