Toshiba might not support Linux, but the people who make their parts
are starting to.  UPEK, the people behind the finger reader, appear to
have made a driver for the device. They seem to target the thinkpad,
but I believe its the same thing.  The thinkwiki has pretty detailed
instructions that I haven't gotten working yet, but hope to soon.

3d accelleration generally should work.  I've got my Tecra M7 w/
Quadro NVS 110M working with the nvidia drivers, and ati's should
still work, thought they take a bit of effort I hear.  Wireless, yea
it sucks if you aren't supported.  But I can't imagine any vendors
standing up against the tide of lower costs and picking high priced
but linux friendly parts, and still avoid bankruptcy =(
