Toshiba Tecra M5  NVS 110 - NVidia display drivers for Linux RedHat 9 kernel 2.4

Does anyone have any experience with this above configuration ?  We cant get the X-Windows video working with the NVidia drivers. We just get a black screen when we try to run the # startx command.  The VESA drivers work fine,  but we need the NVidia drivers to work for a specific Linux application that uses the NVidia drivers.
