Hello,

I've install Ubuntu 6.10, Edgy Eft and if I boot normally sound does not work
(not even through the headphone jack). If I boot with the kernel
parameter acpi=off then sound works but the network does not (and I
lose all those battery saving laptop functions).

The machine is a Toshiba P100 MA5 laptop. I've attached output from
dmesg, lspci and lsmod.

Thanks,
-Pat.
