Thank you Renato. I did what you suggested, traing with all the values.
The one that put more files in the /proc/omnibook was ectype=01

modprobe omnibook ectype=01

#ls /proc/omnibook
blank  display  dmi  fan  fan_policy  hotkeys  lcd  temperature
touchpad  version

#cat /proc/omnibook/dmi

BIOS Vendor:   Phoenix Technologies LTD
BIOS Version:  2.00
BIOS Release:  08/30/2006
System Vendor: TOSHIBA
