	To close this particular thread, I did indeed purchase a 120 gb hard
drive for my Tecra 8000 and successfully installed Debian Etch on it.
Because this particular model is limited to 256 mb memory, I created a 1
gb swap directory.  After all, I had the hard drive space.

	Whether such a large swap directory will make any difference I do not
know.  Some operations run slowly, as this model is a P2 with a 365 mH
CPU; but I really can't expect any more.  I am able to use this laptop
for what I want to do with it.
