Haven't tried Thinkfinger myself (due to the lack of a laptop with finger
print reader...), but that would give you support for your built in finger
print reader, 'tho there are reports that some Toshiba laptops are not
supported by that driver. You should give it a try and check if your model
is supported.

These two depend on the toshiba kernel module (or experimental toshiba_acpi
module) and can provide support to various tasks and configurations.

toshutils are command line applications, while KToshiba (which is based on
toshutils) provides a graphical interface for KDE.

 fnfx is a command line tool that monitors hotkeys and can let you do some
other stuff also, I used this application in the past, before I started
coding KToshiba ;)

This is just a kernel driver wich will provide support for Fn-F# hotkeys and
other stuff, it is needed for fnfx to work.
