I am using Ubuntu 6.06 without recompiling kernel on Tecra S3-128 with my SATA hard drive. I used default LiveCD for installation. My Tecra works with default kernels: 2.6.15-23 - 2.6.15-28 WLAN also work OK. Kind Regards.
