Wowwwww. 4Gb RAM in a laptop?
I have 1Gb and I'm very happy :-)

Datail: Microsoft Windows (also VISTA) don't recognize more than 3.2Gb:

And to support 4Gb RAM on Linux, in necessary active PAE Support 
re-compiling Kernel, or use 64bits Processor.
