I have a Satellite A215-S4767 with Vista. One can make free
space for Linux installation using Administrative Tools
in control panel. This is done without loosing data from
the disk: control panel -> Administrative Tools ->
-> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management ->
-> right click on the disk space image -> Shrink Volume.
From 250 GB volume I have left 100 GB for system and program 
files in Vista, 30 GB free for Linux and the rest formatted
as a second disk for data in Windows.
Installation of Suse 10.2 passed without problems, however my network
card (Realtek RTL8101E) was recognized, but couldn't be enabled.
Update to Suse 10.3 Beta permitted to use the card. The wireless,
Atheros AR5007EG, still is not working. As a beginner in Linux
I have still problems how to install MadWiFi for wireless.
