[tlinux-users:08672] Sound and video issues

Hi,

I seems when I play videos and audio in mplayer/vlc/amarok, the sound seems
to be skipping and sometimes videos skip some frames too. The same
videos/songs play well in other laptops.
Also, when I try to increase the volume from alsamixer, the speakers begin
to squeak. It will be of great help if somebody can point me to the source
of the problem and the solution.
