Hi

I am running feisty at the moment, getting ready to update to gutsy
soon. I don't understand much about ACPI.

I am running a P105-S6024 with the intel hda driver. I now have to run
with acpi-ht (which I've heard means hyper threading which I have no
understanding of the process). I have been using linux of differing
flavors since '99. I haven't gotten into the 'guts' of *nix since '85
and have forgotten what little I knew. What is the DSDT that was spoken
in this thread and what is being described in this addition to the
bootup parameters? If anyone is kind enough to answer these questions,
thanks in advance.

Mark
