Hi Stephe, Kanotix Live CD has recognized most of the hardware on my A205 - S4777. As noted in another post I haven't tested the fingerprint Reader and haven't tried to install a printer. However, I was able to set-up wireless connections easily. There are a lot of ways to go with linux. It just takes time to try all the different distributions and settle on the one or two that suit you best.
