Folks; attached my Tecra A8 (i945GM graphics chip) to my shiny new Port Replicator III+, and so far everything seems to work rather well, except for one thing: I want to use both external and the notebooks own display in a multimonitor / xinerama setup, having the notebook display the secondary and the external one the primary desktop. Is something like that possible? If so, any useful hints / tutorials on that? I'm on Ubuntu 7.10 ... Thanks and best regards, Kristian -- Kristian Rink * http://zimmer428.net * http://flickr.com/photos/z428/ jab: [email protected] * icq: 48874445 * fon: ++49 176 2447 2771 "One dreaming alone, it will be only a dream; many dreaming together is the beginning of a new reality."
