We have a Toshiba L40 laptop in the family on which I installed Ubuntu v7.10. My biggest problem is that I am unable to connect to the wireless network with the laptop in Ubuntu although everything works fine in Windows. Unfortunately I couldn`t find any drivers for the RTL8187B WLAN device on your site for Linux therefore had to use ndiswrapper and the XP driver. So far I have managed to tell Ubuntu to detect my WLAN card but cannot connect to my router. Any help is much appreciated! Regards, Chris ------=_Part_15469_20854931.1201082671712 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline
Hi,

I turn to you in the hope of you can help my problem.
