Regular kernel panics

Hi again,

I still have to set up a kernel dump server to capture more information, 
but ahead of that; I was wondering if anybody else has seen this?

I'm running RHEL4 with the UM3 packages.  The dump comes at random times 
after restarting the directors.  Thinking it might be related, I've been 
systematically trying broad, multi, and unicast heartbeats in various 
combinations.  The latest crash came while using only broadcast.  I 
heard or read somewhere that an abundance of udp packets hitting a 
firewall can crash it, but that's another loose end I need to tie up.

Meanwhile, the systems work great up to the point of the crash.  Even 
then the active director keeps routing until it also eventually crashes 
in a full kernel panic.

And thoughts?
