I don't know much about the SH-scheduler.

I guess you find the best online documentation on the LVS-HowTo

http://www.austintek.com/LVS/LVS-HOWTO/HOWTO/LVS-HOWTO.ipvsadm.html#SH-s
cheduler

Perhapps you can find something usefull in the LVS mailinglist archive:

http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-virtual-server&r=1&w=2

If you want to ask people about it you may want to subscribe to the list
and post your question there.

Subject: Source Hash, balancing method, success cases request

Hi everybody, i need a little help about this: We have a situation with
50K connections at the same time to a active-pasive UM3 1.2.3 CVS Load
balancers, but the networking guys wants to change the balancing method
instead of using RR or LC, use SH, for abuse counter reasons (flow
control, max errors from teh same IP address and stuff), the service is
mainly SMTP and HTTP, have someone done this before is such a large
scale?

Which one is the largest deploy in one active machine of this Method?

Does anyone have positive or negative comments about this? eventually
only if needed we could upgrade the LBs to rhel4 and heartbeat 2 if
needed.

Thanks in advance
