Hi
I would like to get feed-back and advice on a UM
setup which I am planning to do

I have to set up “p3scan “ load balanced as proxy
server for a Mail Server , which is outside my domain
, and where I do not have any control on it. Also I do
not have control on the mail clients

With out UM , my setup is as
(1)When the mail client accessing the Mail Server
(which is outside my network ) the 110 port packets
get routed to the p3scan machine and it scans the
mails . It acts transparently and it works fine

Now my concern of using UM is
Since I cannot change the mail client settings ,
when they access POP3 server , from the router I am
re-routing he packets via Virtual IP address . After
this my p3scan does not work . In this scenario can
I make p3scan clustered and work.
                 Guidance requested
                           Thanks
                                 Joseph John
