Hi all, I have set up an Ultra Monkey test system using two PCs running Debian Sarge, based on the "Streamline and High Availability" sample configuration. This seems to work fine so far. I now want to add another machine into the cluster as an additional real server. This machine is running SuSE 9.2. My problem is that I am having trouble working out how to configure the loopback alias under that operating system (I'm pretty new to network configurations -- this is a great learning process). The network configuration under SuSE appears to work differently to either the Red Hat or Debian examples given in the UM documentation, though it is similar to the Red Hat version (ifcfg-* files). I have tried writing an ifcfg-lo:0 file, but on running ifup I get the error "Interface lo:0 is not available". I've been Googling for help, but have not found information to work out what I am doing wrong. If there is such a thing, could someone please point me at documentation that might help me understand what I am doing a little better?
