Hi ramon, take a look at 'heartbeat' (www.linux-ha.org). Basically you install a second server identical to your first loadbalancer. The heartbeat package on loadbalancer A will monitor the health of loadbalancer B and vice versa. When one of the machines dies heartbeat will make shure that the remaining machine get's the cluster ip address and all necessary software is run. Google for examples. There are plenty of them. Success!
