Hi everybody, Do you know if i can use or implements Ultramonkey for asterisk? Asterisk is a complete IP PBX in software. does adoes anyone know how to set up ldirectord for asterisk? Thanks Best Regards Abraham OLIVARES diego <[email protected]> escribió: Hi, hoping my reply is right.... anyway: ultramonkey is a project, including the packages heartbeat and ldirector. The advantage of using ultramonkey instead of each packages, is that you have all the necessary dependencies satisfied. Heartbeat monitor some network resources to have high available servers. Ldirector test the pool of servers behind itself to remove "died" servers and use ipvsadm to balance the load between "alive"servers. In the ultramonkey project (or configuration) ldirector is started and stopped by heartbeat, in case you want both high availability and load balancing... If you can install LVS, iptables, ipvsadm, heartbeat and ldirector in Cent OS 5, I think you should be able to make it work... but I don't have any experience in this OS...
