Re: ultramonkey load balancing

as you wrote, the procedure at the link below explicitly stop Heartbeat and start 
ldirector, so it is normal to have ha stopped!

for load balancing alone, heartbeat is stopped, of course.

In your case Ldirector starts at the boot (/etc/init.d/ldirector start) is not started by 
heartbeat.

To test: the call to the virtual node, must work :)

If you meant to test HOW the algorithm work , i don't know...
