Hi,

I have not made packages for CentOS 5.0 nor tested CentOS 5.0.  But it
should really be just a matter of compiling hearbeat, installing and
configuring. Keep in mind that if you are using LVS-DR then you should
use arp_ignore and arp_announce rather than arptables, which is a method
that works with older kernels.

Basically, follow the Deian instructions not the Red Hat ones
for newer (>=2.4.27/2.6.0) kernels.
