Greeting all,
Over the past few weeks I have worked very hard to get a load balanced environment up and running to 2 Microsoft IIS servers. It was a painful few weeks scouring the internet to find the best way to make this happen. Only to figure out that my major issue was that I was running my director on a VMware slice and how it got confused between DNS servers to use. After getting this all taken care of I am up and running having no issues that I am aware of balancing between my 2 IIS boxes using IP addresses. Here comes my final problem that I could not find. I have scoured the internet and I just am not sure what I am missing, it must be right in front of my nose but I cant make the connection.
How to I make my VIP be associated with a Fully qualified domain name? It is set up correctly on my DNS server but, I don't know what I need to do on the director to get it to fire up. Please let me know what syntax I need to use to make this happen. Also let me know if you need any of my config files.
Thanks,
Bruce
