Hi, it is a long time since I have tried to use SIP with LVS. But as I recall the main problem is that a) the protocol is UDP and thus doesn't have connections that can be tracked at layer 4 and b) in the case of the tests that I was running it wasn't entirely obvious how to identify connections based on the source and destination port and IP address, which is essetnailly how LVS works. Julian's One Packet scheuler is an attempt to address this. http://www.austintek.com/LVS/LVS-HOWTO/HOWTO/ The discussion here also seems relevant http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/lvs/users/20871 As for stripping out the auth header, that seems a little unlikely to me as LVS doesn't alter the contents of packets. -- Simon Horman VA Linux Systems Japan K.K., Sydney, Australia Satellite Office H: www.vergenet.net/~horms/ W: www.valinux.co.jp/en _______________________________________________ Ultramonkey-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.vergenet.net/listinfo/ultramonkey-users
