Failover for Asterisk

Hello All,

I am trying to establish failover using heartbeat for Asterisk systems. I
have already setup the heartbeat systems and virtual IP. I can ping the
virtual ip from any system in my network. When I use the heartbeat service
for http (web server) it works fine but for sip (port 5060) my softphone
client does not register on asterisk. Can any one help me out with this one
