Saru daemon fails to start

After quite a bit of time spent getting a proper saru rpm built on my Linxu RHEL
3 server, I was able to create rpms for saru-0.0.1. I then installed the rpms
without any errors. I then went to start the saru daemon by issuing the command
'service saru start' and I was meant by an error, 'Could not load saru kernel
module (ipt_saru)'.

I know that in the INSTALL doc it reads that I'm to have a kernel with netfilter
enabled. How can I be sure that netfilter is enabled? As for the error, has
anyone received the same error and how did they manage to fix the problem?

I know that ipt_saru is a netfilter kernel module, so how do I load it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
