Yeah, the port will be open if you have the director setup correctly, but
you won't be able to connect to the port unless you have the real server
setup correctly and the director is actually passing traffic to it.

Subject: Newbie Question.

Hi,

I'm trying to set up load balancing for port 80 traffic but when I point
my browser at the IP of the virtual server I get a "failed to connect"
message.

If I have the Director set up correctly and port scan the Director, port
80 should be listed as open, correct?

Thanks.

-David.
