Hi, I hope some one help me in this situation We are having two webservers 1) webserver1 -- 1 physical network card and 2 virtual network cards configured for websites hosting 2) webserver2 -- 1 physical network card and 2 virtual network cards configured for websites hosting We are planning to configure HA and load balancing for these two servers. We are planning to install two(2) director machines with direct routing. This direct routing method is efficient or not. One important question is with physical and virtual ip network cards are presently serving the websites requests. If we need to configure Ultramonkey with HA and loadbalancing i need to add one more virtual network card on both the real servers to share the information. My question is sharing one virtual ip with virtual ip address(which is serving for websites) in main server will work or not. One virtual ipaddress need to configure in two directors to share the information. Is there anyother wany to configure easily with this configuration and which is best for this environment. We are using debian sarge for this. Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards --------------------------------- Yahoo! FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.
