I just upgraded some servers to the heartbeat package provided by fedora. This new package doesn't seem to handle ARPing properly... it appears that it doesn't properly run the local_takeip and local_giveip scripts any longer... Which causes the whole system to fail once my router flushes it's ARP. The problem appears to be in this rpm heartbeat-2.0.4-2.fc4.rpm Specifically with this script /etc/ha.d/resource.d/IPaddr2 What happened to the local_takeip and local_giveip with the new version?
