Try it without the spaces. For example:

real=10.0.0.150:3306

not

real = 10.0.0.150:3306

See if that works.

Subject: Config error

Hi,

When I try /etc/init.d/ldirectord start

This happens:

[root@loadb1 init.d]# /etc/init.d/ldirectord start Starting ldirectord Error
[] reading file /etc/ha.d/ldirectord.cf at line 11: Unknown command real =
10.0.0.150:3306 masq [FAILED]

Here's my config file:

[root@loadb1 init.d]# vi /etc/ha.d/ldirectord.cf

# Global Directives
checktimeout=10
checkinterval=2
autoreload=no
logfile="local0"
quiescent=yes

#Virtual mysql cluster service.
virtual=10.0.0.61:3306
#service = mysql
real = 10.0.0.150:3306 masq
real = 10.0.0.151:3306 masq
checktype = negotiate
login = "ldirector"
passwd = "ldirectorpassword"
database = "ldirectordb"
request = "SELECT * FROM connectioncheck"
scheduler = wrr
~
~
~
~
~
"/etc/ha.d/ldirectord.cf" 18L, 380C

This is to load balance over a mysql cluster, but it seems as though
ldirector doesn't know what real means... Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Simon Jones
