I am using UM3 modestly to run 2 LDs and 8 Real Servers using CentOS4. Currently pushing 100Mb and load on the LD is not even affected ~= 0.0. I would love to see how you have used RDDTool for generating graphs. Is it a one-line kind of thing you can share or 3 months work + proprietary scripting? Only recently I've begun the task of trying to find/build monitoring tools to show uptime and loads on all machines on our network. If you could point me at tools which already solve this problem, it sure would save me the trouble of reinventing the wheel. I googled rrdtool just now and found this: http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/index.en.html. Is this what you are referring to? Got any pointers?
