Hi, I am wondering if a one machine only set-up would work. The idea is to have the director, real servers, and client run within the same physical box for unit testing. So, the service on the VIP will be on a port, while the real servers bound to it will be on different ports. The client would connect to the VIP port and hopefully get redirected to the real server ports. I tried this by hand, using ipvsadm and it did not work. I also looked at the example configurations for director/realserver from ultramonkey and try to set-up the configuration by hand, but did not work either. I was only successful in setting up a 2 servers configurations with LVS by hand, this being my first experience with LVS. Would this one machine set-up work at all? Any suggestions or tips related to how? Thanks, Roxana. -- Ultra Monkey - http://www.ultramonkey.org/ To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected], with a body: unsubscribe ultramonkey-users [email protected] where "[email protected]" is YOUR email address.
