Thank you so very much David for pointing me to the correct documentation. I followed it on the server that is going to be Linux Director / Real Server. On setting up the loop back interface to the virtual IP address as suggested in the documentation http://www.ultramonkey.org/3/topologies/sl-ha-lb-eg.html "*Configure Loopback Interface*" DEVICE=lo:0 IPADDR=xx.xxx.xx.47 NETMASK=255.255.255.128 NETWORK=xx.xxx.xx.0 BROADCAST=xx.xxx.xx.127 ONBOOT=yes NAME=loopback I ended up loosing connection to the server, and had to get the loop back setting disabled for the moment to be able to connect to it, any ideas why that happened and what I might be doing wrong ? Please note I did not revert back any settings listed in the documentation here http://www.ultramonkey.org/3/topologies/ha-lb-eg.html Which I did earlier for this server. Thank you so very much, Imran.
