Hi,
I am trying to set-up a configuration similar to:
http://www.ultramonkey.org/3/topologies/lb-eg.html
The only difference in my set-up is that I use only one NIC and all
machines are VMware boxes. Here is my set-up:
Director:
VIP: 192.168.141.150
DIP: 192.168.141.130
Real servers:
RIP1: 192.168.141.131
RIP2: 192.168.141.132
Service: my own httpd running on port 8000.
Director ifconfig output:

Please find attached ldirectord.cf and the output of ipvsadm.
The problems are:
1) The weights of the services on real servers are always 0, no matter
what I set in the configuration file; I can edit them by hand, but
this seems to defeat the purpose of a configuration file.
2) I cannot start my service on the real servers -- they get killed by
some ldirectord side-effect.
Note: I tried the exact same with LVS NAT (by hand) and it worked.
Can anyone tell me if there is something obviously wrong with my configuration?
Thanks,
Roxana.
