I'm not sure what you mean by "coming along the paper", but in general, multi-tier setups should work fine. > 2) I am also interested in custom routing with LVS (i.e. Level > 4, > based on request content). So far I came across KTCPVS from the LVS > people and Ultra Monkey-L7. They seem to be both level 7 load > balancers. How do they compare (w.r.t. major features). As far as I understand, both are fairly experimental. I did work on the Ultra Monkey-L7 project a little, however I am not entirely sure of its current status with regards to reliability and features. I am even less faminilar with KTCPVS :( > There is not > much english documentation on the UM-L7 site -- does it come with the > distribution? At this time UM and UM-L7 are separate (though related) projects, so no the UM-L7 code does not come with UM. With regards to the documentation, there might be more English material lying around offline. I have CCed, Kondo-san, he may know more about this. -- Horms H: http://www.vergenet.net/~horms/ W: http://www.valinux.co.jp/en/ -- Ultra Monkey - http://www.ultramonkey.org/ To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected], with a body: unsubscribe ultramonkey-users [email protected] where "[email protected]" is YOUR email address.
