Hi all,

I'm trying to configure a linux IPv6 router with Usagi tools. One
interface is an ATM card in which I wish to configure a PVC to send IPv6
traffic.

I have used various Usagi kits but i have obtained nothing. First I have
tried a linux26 kit (stable version and variuos snapshots) but pvctool
doesn't compile for a linux 2.6 kernel because it doesn't find the file
atmipv6.h that actually only exists on 2.4 kernels. So, I have tried
last usagi 2.4 kit.

First I compiled the kernel and then ran the new kernel. After, I
compiled pvctool (and ifconfig) without error and followed the steps
indicated in http://www2.linux-ipv6.org/ml/usagi-users/msg00898.html.

# /usr/local/v6/sbin/pvctool -c atm0
ITF: ITF CREATE 0

# /usr/local/v6/sbin/pvctool -S 0 108.50 <- VPI=108 and VCI=50

I don't know if I have a physical layer problem or if I use bad comands
for configuration. Then I try:

# /usr/local/v6/sbin/ifconfig atm0 up


[ifconfig atm0 add (address of this IF) (address of peer IF)]
# /usr/local/v6/sbin/ifconfig atm0 add xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx::2/64  		
						xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx::1/64

ifconfig: `--help' gives usage information.

Has had anybody the same problems or knows what i am doing bad??
