Hi,

We have a strange problem of setting up ipv6 multicast on Linux. We are
running usagi-linux26-s20060522.tar.bz2 kernel. Using a simple test
problem
(http://www-r2.u-strasbg.fr/~hoerdt/dev/linux_ipv6_mforwarding/?topic=St
atus), we were able to statically setup kernel ipv6 multicast virtual
interface and cache. /proc/net/ip6_mr_vif/cache shows the correct
information. We also verified that
/proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/ethx/mc_forwarding is 1. But when we sent UDP
multicast traffic, ip6_mr_vif/cache showed the traffic reached the box
from the incoming interface but didn't go out through the outgoing
interface. Any clue about what might be wrong, please let us know.

Thank you.

Jason
