i am also exploring to see what needs to be on the ftp server side.
my ftp server target is a normal FC5 box, i am working to configure 
vsftp to
serve ipv6 ftp.

they say that i just need to set listen_ipv6=yes in the vsftp.conf file and
restart the daemon. does this sound right to you?
