(usagi-users 03767) Neighbor Discovery data cached where?

Using linux kernel 2.6.12.3, I cannot find any kernel file that caches the
Neighbor Discovery data.

Command line works fine, ie, %>ping6 <ipv6_address>, then %>ip -6 neigh.
But, I need this in an application so command line system calls are
undesirable.
